Peregrine Falcon was painted in 1943 at Annapolis, Maryland, while Dr. Earl Henry was serving as a dentist at the U.S. Naval Academy. The artist knew the birds by their American name, “Duck Hawks”. Today these birds are better known by their English name, “Peregrine Falcons”.

This print is a perfect size for a mat to fit a standard size frame 11 by 14 inches. Image size is 6 3/16" x 7 3/4". Total paper including white border is 9 1/2" x 11 5/8".
